Gaming Table: Schetches

I'm in the middle of my gaming room furnishing, so I thought I'd share with you the final plans for the gaming table, the centerpiece and hearth of my gaming room (which has been inspired by Geek Chic).
The inner gaming surface will be 120x180cm, with the upper tabletop being 158x218x2cm.
The legs will be 9x9x78cm, so the table will have a total height of 80cm.
The apron will be 9.5cm high, so the lower part of the apron will be 68.5cm from the ground.

Sto arredando la sala da gioco, così ho pensato di condividere con voi il progetto del mio tavolo da gioco, cuore pulsante di tutta la stanza.
Il tavolo avrà una superficie interna di 120x180cm (modello Geek Chic), mentre il piano superiore sarà di 158x218x2cm. Le gambe saranno dei travetti 9x9x78cm, quindi l'altezza del piano sarà di 80 cm.
La "gonnella" sotto il tavolo sarà di 9,5cm, quindi la parte inferiore si troverà a 68,5cm dal pavimento: abbastanza spazio per evitare di sbatterci le ginocchia.

The table apron and legs will be made out of fir, while the top and bottom will be plywood.
I'm gonna glue the short aprons to the legs and put some dowels in to strengthen the bond, while the long aprons will be held in place from carriage bolts for ease of disassembly.

La parte strutturale del tavolo verrà fatta in abete (preferivo il mogano, ma costa!), mentre i piani saranno in compensato.
Incollerò le due tavole corte alle gambe, rinforzando la giunzione con degli spinotti in faggio. Le assi lunghe saranno bloccate attorno alle gambe utilizzando bulloni a testa tonda con quadro sottotesta.

The top will come off by simply rising it. The internal height will be around 7cm.

La parte superiore sarà semplicemente appoggiata e tenuta ferma da travetti da 1cm incollati sul lato inferiore. L'altezza del vano interno sarà di circa 7 cm. 

The recessed table will be glued onto 4 wood beams, and those will be screwed to the apron with drywall screws. I'll probably glue some reinforce beams underneath.

Il piano inferiore sarà incollato a 4 travetti 2x2, i quali verranno avvitati alle tavole con viti da legno. Forse aggiungerò anche qualche travetto di rinforzo centralmente.
