Dystopian Wars: unpacking

Oggi mi è arrivato a casa l'ordine fatto un paio di settimane fa alla Maelstrom Games. Avevo ordinato tutto l'occorrente per giocare a Dystopian Wars, e cioè il libro delle regole, un mazzo di carte e due starter set navali, Britannia e Federal States of America (d'ora in poi FSA).
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Today arrived the order I placed to Maelstrom Games a couple of weeks ago. I ordered everything I needed to start playing: the rulebook, a card deck and two naval groups (Federal States of America and Britannia).

 The box as it arrived to my door.

 What was in the box. Everything was carefully packed and wrapped with plenty of plastic bubble sheet.

FSA box. Here I found a minor error: they gave me 9 FSA Tiny Flyers instead of 10 and 1 Britannia Tiny Flyer

Britannia box. All right on this, except some minor bubbles on a couple of frigates chimneys.

Gift: Candle Holder

Una mia compagna di corso sta per laurearsi, quindi ho pensato di regalarle un portancandela fatto con i mattoncini Hirst Arts.

A friend of mine is going to degree in a couple of days, so I've made a little gift for her: a candle holder made with Hirst Arts blocks.

Intanto che ci sono, ne approfitto per postare anche una foto di quello a cui sto lavorando adesso: una serie di vampiri della Westwind che ho comperato alcuni mesi fa in sconto.

Trattrice a vapore per aratura funicolare del 1906, fotografata ad una sagra frazionale (Sagra di San Biagio, Modena). Erano presenti moltissimi trattori d'epoca e ben tre macchine a vapore (due trattrici per aratura funicolare e una locomobile con trebbiatrice connessa a cinghia). Spettacolare anche l'aratura notturna, con trattori d'epoca e moderni fianco a fianco.

Steam tractor (1906), photographed at a local festival (Feast of San Biagio, Modena). There were a great number of vintage tractors and three steam engines (two tractors for cable plowing  and a mobile steam engine connected to a thresher with a tissue belt). Spectacular night plowing with modern and vintage tractors side by side.
