Miniature Update: Vault 13 Guard and '20s Gangster

Bene, eccomi di nuovo con due miniature. Questa volta le ho fotografate in girdino, ma non sono sicuro del risultato... mi sembra un po' sottotono.

Here I am again, this time with two new minis. This time I took a picture of 'em in my garden, but I'm not satisfied with the result... I's a bit too dull.

Tommy Gunner, maybe i'll use it as a '20s Gangster or Adventurer. Probably a Copplestone Casting miniature, not sure of it.

Miniature Update

In queste settimane anche se non ho scritto nulla non sono rimasto con le mani in mano. In questo periodo, infatti, sono riuscito a terminare alcune miniature che mi stavo trascinando dietro da un po'.

During these weeks I didn't write anything about minis, but I actually managed to finish some of 'em I had lying around for too long.

First of all, here we have Amy Kennedy, an Ariadna 5th Minuteman with a light shotgun and a double-barrel missile launcher for Infinity.

Little conversion from a 40k Ork slaver. Will be used as a super-mutant in some Post-Apocalyptic or Steampunk setting. To be honest, I simply love the little goblin head, it gives him a real dumb feeling... more or less like super-mutants in Fallout 1.

Old school Gangster (probably Copplestone... not sure).

Hellhund and Goblin

Ho appena finito di dipingere un cane demoniaco e un goblin, che userò per Wasteland (spero) e per Dungeon Twister. Forse il cane lo userò come mutante in un gioco di zombie, anche se è improbabile. Entrambi provengono dalla scatola delle Kakkole (GW).

I just finished painting a Hellhund and a Goblin. I'll use 'em for Wasteland or as mutants in a zombie game... maybe. I'll surely use the Gob for Dungeon Twister. Both come from the Ork Gretchin box (GW).

 

 

 

G.O.B.S.! play, Wip Minis and a couple of finished ones

In questi giorni ho portato avanti un paio di progetti: un troll per Dungeon Twister e due maghi.

In these days, I continued a couple of projects: a troll for Dungeon Twister and two wizards.

Ho anche terminato di dipingere l'ultimo dei soldati in tuta NBC della Mirliton che avevo comperato al Play e un lupo che era nello stesso blister di Caperucita Roja della Tales of War.

I also finished painting my last soldier in NBC suit (Mirliton) I bought at Play and a wolf that was in the same pack of Caperucita Roja (Tales of War).

Oggi ho anche fatto una partita (la prima) a G.O.B.S.! , un gioco di astronavi coinvolgente, gratuito, semplice e carino. Non so se ci giocherò ancora (un po' lunghetto...) però di seguito ci sono le foto della partita. Io comandavo la flotta opaca, mentre la Chiara quella dai colori brillanti. Io ero in netta inferiorità numerica, ma le mie navi erano cariche di siluri (21), che mi hanno fatto vincere la partita (navi ammassate = più di una vittima per siluro).

Today I had my first game at G.O.B.S.!, a starship wargame. Simple, quite fun and gratis, but a little too long (same lenght that a 500pt Lord of the Rings battle). To follow, pics of the battle. I commanded the dull fleet, while my girlfriend had the bright coloured one. I was greatly outnumbered, but my ships were loaded with torpedos (3 on each frigate and 6 on my dreadnought), and they won me the fight (when you mass ships together you're asking for trubles...)

Sono ritornato ieri sera da Fanano, dove ho seguito dei meravigliosi esercizi spirituali in un ostello gestito dalle suore.
Trovandomi in un paesino di montagna, ne ho approfittato per scattare un paio di foto a degli scorci che ho reputato assai carini.

I came back home yesterday evening from Fanano (literally translated as "Do-dwarf", or "tiny-C"), where I retired for a weekend of meditations and prayers. I was hosted in a hostel managed by a Franciscan Sisters convent.
Being in a nice place, I took some inspirational pics.

Questa settimana ci sono stati molti avvenimenti da ricordare.
Ho provato per la prima volta l'XRD dell'università su di un pigmento bianco (ossido di Titanio).

This week happened a lot of noteworhy things.
I used for the first time the XRD of the university on a white pigment (Titan Oxide).

Ho anche giocato con la mia ragazza a Wings of War... Mi sta venendo voglia di comperare qualche espansione!

I had also a Wings of War game with my girlfriend... I'm seriously thinking about getting some expanctions.

 

Infine ho iniziato una TAG (Das Kindertag!) ed ho continuato un altro vecchio Wip... la casa di un mercante.
