Pochi minuti fa ho finito un'altra partita ad Infinity con la Chiara, usando le stesse forze della volta scorsa ( http://leadandplasticblog.blogspot.com/2011/02/modern-buildings-and-first-infinity.html ).
Per tagliarla corta, ho battuto la mia ragazza con un buon margine a causa di una serie di errori compiuti a inizio partita, anche se verso la fine ho temuto per il mio Veteran Kazake per il mio luogotenente (l'americano con l'elmetto).

A few minutes ago I finished another Infinity game with Chiara with the same forces we used last time (http://leadandplasticblog.blogspot.com/2011/02/modern-buildings-and-first-infinity.html).
Long story short, I won quite easily because of a series of mistakes she made during the deployment, although towards the end I feared for my Veteran Kazak and for my Liutenent (the paratrooper with the helmet).

Il mio prossimo lavoro sarà un M-113 del 1972, in dotazione ai Carabinieri.
Il kit è della Italeri, in scala 1/72 (20 mm), stampato bene, semplice e ben disegnato.

I decided to take a break from miniatures painting.
Right now I'm working on a M-113 in 1/72 scale (20 mm), from the Carabinieri section of the Italian Army (Military Police).
The kit is produced by Italeri. It's well designed, well casted, simple; in a word a real plasure to build.
I'll take some pics soon.

Impetus: 2 Italic Cavalry (Punic Wars) and Gaming Night report

Venerdì sera mi sono trovato con i miei ex compagni di classe per una serata-svacco (birra, patatine e giochi da tavolo).
Abbiamo iniziato alle 9.30 con una partita a Munchin, poi abbiamo giocato ai Coloni di Catan fino alle 3 di notte (2 partite). Un vero spettacolo!
Ho vinto 2 partite, a parimerito con Siena.

Last Friday night I met with some ex-classmates, and we had a wonderful gaming night (bier, chips and boardgames).
We started at 9.30 whith Munchin, than we had a couple of games at Settlers of Catan. We ended the second one at 3.00 AM. Truly a remarcable evening!
I won 2 games, a draw with Siena.
