Infinity: (short) Battle Report and random cosiderations

Here I am again with a brief battle report of Infinity.


This time I wanted to try a different approach, and I decided to use Ariadna against my 1st Acontecimento Tournament List (used by Chiara).
I simply shred her forces to pieces and killed the Bagh-Mari in CC with my Highlander Grey. It has actually been the first time this troop managed to get useful, killing the Dragoe and the Guardia d'Assalto before getting killed.
The Ariadna Scout did their job rather well, even if the Acontecimento Regulars link team managed to kill one of 'em with the Spitfire.

The Wulver has been pointless as usual. I'm seriously thinking about swapping it with a Dog-Warrior.


The Cateran is kinda meh... It's cheap and T2 Sniper is nasty, but mimetism isn't that good, in a camo-heavy list. Maybe I should try to use it more aggressively: I simply put it on top of a building threatening as mush terrain as possible with his AROs.

5th Minutemens are good even with just the standard rifle. You can't go wrong with Bs 13.


The Caledonian Volunteer and the SAS with Chain Rifle have been pretty useful too: they put their templates right on top of the link team, effectively eliminating it from play.


The Tankhunter with Autocannon was awesome as usual, so it confirm himself as a Must-have piece in my army.

Eccomi a voi con un'altro Battle Report di Infinity.

Questa volta ho voluto tentare un approccio differente con Ariadna. Ho giocato contro Chiara come al solito.
Lei ha usato la mia prima lista da torneo di Acontecimento, che è stata disegnata specificamente per contrastare Ariadna.
Per farla breve, ho semplicemente fatto  pezzi il suo esercito e ucciso il Bagh-Mari in CC con l'Highlander Grey. È stata la prima volta che questa truppa è riuscita a brillare, uccidendo anche il Dragoe e la Guardia d'Assalto prima di morire.

Gli Scout hanno fatto il loro sporco lavoro piuttosto bene, anche se il Link Team è riuscito a uccidere uno di loro usando lo Spitfire.

Il Wulver è stato pressochè inutile come al solito. Sto seriamente pensando di scambiarlo con un Dog-Warrior.

Il Cateran... è a buon mercato ed il T2 Sniper è 'na brutta bestia, ma il pezzo non mi ha finito appieno. Forse dovrei provare ad usarlo in modo più aggressivo: l'ho semplicemente piazzato in cima ad un edificio in modo da minacciare l'area più grande possibile con i suoi ARO.

Il 5° Minutemen è ottimo anche soltanto con il fucile standard. Non si può sbagliare con Bs 13.

Il Caledonian Volunteer e la  SAS con fucile a catena sono stati molto utili: hanno piazzato i propri template proprio sopra al Link Team, eliminandolo efficacemente dal gioco.

Il Tankhunter con Autocannon è stato fantastico come al solito, e si conferma come un must-have per il mio esercito.
