A Tabletop Forest

I am a casual player of the Lord of the Rings (GW rules) and for a long time I wanted to set a battle in a forest.
I always found  pathetic those gaming tables that were supposed to be a forest with just 4-6 trees. Well, look at reality! There is no natural forest in the world that has more than 10 meters between a tree and another (18 cm scale 1 / 56) and average distances are even lower. For a normal forest about every 2 feet or less there's a tree, and in 28 mm scale means a tree every 3 cm.
While agreeing fully with those who say that some abstraction is needed to allow easy access to the game table, I believe that we need a more courageous approach to fully enjoy the aesthetic side of the tabletop wargame.
Not possessing a sufficient number of trees have long postponed a game like this.
Over the years I have been buying and building many types of trees (a forest is never all uniform, right?), arriving at the end to the result referred to by the photo.
For my forest I used both homemade trees and bought ones.
