Come avevo accennato alla fine dello scorso Post, a Play ho fatto alcuni acquisti.

As I wrote in my last Post, I did buy some sweeties at Play.

Dungeon Twister lo devo ancora provare, ma il feeling c'è.
Per quanto riguarda le miniature di Infinity, sono favolosamente dettagliate e scolpite. Meravigliose.
Le foto non rendono giustizia, ma intanto ecco un piccolo teaser di ciò che bolle in pentola.

I have yet to play with Dungeon Twister, but I like the feeling I got from reading the rules.
About Infinity miniatures, they are beautyful: wonderfully sculpted and detailed, whith very little mold lines and no flashes at all.

Play 2011: Photo report

Questo fine settimana sono andato a Play, una manifestazione ludica organizzata dal Club TreEmme e supportata magnificamente dalla Tana dei Goblin.
Fiera favolosa, mi sono divertito molto. Appena entrato ho iniziato un giro di ricognizione ammirando (e fotografando) i tavoli che mi hanno colpito di più.

This weekend I went to Play, a convention in Modena organised by Club TreEmme and strongly supported by Tana dei Goblin.
It has been a wonderful day. I started roaming around taking photos and scouting the area.

Dopo aver osservato attentamente l'intera area fieristica, mi sono fermato a provare tre giochi: Pandemia, Cash'n Guns e Niagara. Mi sono piaciuti molto tutti e tre, ma sono riuscito a fotografare solo l'ultimo.

When I ended my tour of the stands, I sit down and played 3 different games: Pandemic, Cash'n Guns and Niagara. I enjoyed them all, however I managed to take a pic only of the last one.

Concludendo, Play ha superato ogni più rosea aspettativa. Sicuramente ci andrò anche l'anno prossimo, la cortesia e la preparazione dei dimostratori ha conquistato la mia combriccola (io, Chiara, mia cugina, la sua amica e Pioli).
Ho anche fatto qualche acquisto, ma questo è un altro post ;)

At the end, Play was better than I expected. Much better. I'll surely be there next year.

Wip: Kindertag+Merchant House (and inspirational pics)

Sono ritornato ieri sera da Fanano, dove ho seguito dei meravigliosi esercizi spirituali in un ostello gestito dalle suore.
Trovandomi in un paesino di montagna, ne ho approfittato per scattare un paio di foto a degli scorci che ho reputato assai carini.

I came back home yesterday evening from Fanano (literally translated as "Do-dwarf", or "tiny-C"), where I retired for a weekend of meditations and prayers. I was hosted in a hostel managed by a Franciscan Sisters convent.
Being in a nice place, I took some inspirational pics.

Questa settimana ci sono stati molti avvenimenti da ricordare.
Ho provato per la prima volta l'XRD dell'università su di un pigmento bianco (ossido di Titanio).

This week happened a lot of noteworhy things.
I used for the first time the XRD of the university on a white pigment (Titan Oxide).

Ho anche giocato con la mia ragazza a Wings of War... Mi sta venendo voglia di comperare qualche espansione!

I had also a Wings of War game with my girlfriend... I'm seriously thinking about getting some expanctions.

 

Infine ho iniziato una TAG (Das Kindertag!) ed ho continuato un altro vecchio Wip... la casa di un mercante.
