APE Grunt (Grindhouse Games)

Ecco un nuovo inquietante personaggio per Wasteland, un soldato in armatura potenziata.

Il modello è stato molto divertente da dipingere e ne sono ampiamente soddisfatto, specie perchè mi ha dato modo di provare una nuova tecnica di invecchiamento. La base è verde marcio (Chatachan green, GW), sulla quale ho applicato una serie di lavature di marrone chiaro (Vallejo Model Color, simile al Bestial Brown GW, ma più opaco) diluito e tamponato con fazzolettini di carta, per finire con una lievissima sottolineatura di bianco-verdastro (Vallejo Model Color, Green Grey).

La miniatura è prodotta dalla GrindHouse Games per il suo skirmish "Incursion", e viene venduta a 10€. Si compone di 4 pezzi (testa di 2 tipi diversi, corpo, braccia, zaino) è facile da montare e non presenta fastidiose sbavature.

E'un pezzo che ho apprezzato molto, e lo consiglio vivamente.

Here is a new character for Wasteland, a soldier in power armor.

This model has been very fun to paint and I am fully satisfied of it, especially because it gave me the opportunity to try a new aging technique. The base is muddy green (green Chatachan, GW), on which I have applied a series of washes of diluited light brown (Vallejo Model Color, similar to the GW Bestial Brown, but more opaque) and buffered with tissue paper, ending with a slight highligt of white-green (Vallejo Model Color Green Grey).

The miniature is made from Grindhouse Games for his skirmish "Incursion" and is sold at 10 €. It consists of 4 pieces (2 different types of head, body, arms, backpack) is easy to put together and has no annoying flashes.
It is a mini that I enjoyed a lot, and I highly recommend it.

Roman Centurion (Wargames Foundry)

Finalmente ho trovato il modo di connettermi senza subire la noia di una connessione lentissima: il wi-fi dell'università è davvero comodo.
In questi giorni di silenzio sono riuscito a completare alcuni lavori degni di nota.
Non sono ancora riuscito a fare l'upload di tutte le foto, ma intanto ecco un piccolo assaggio di quello che è in arrivo.

Il modello è un centurione romano di epoca imperiale, prodotto dalla Warlord Games. Lo scudo dovrebbe riportare le insegne della legione di appartenenza, ma non mi piacevano, così ho deciso di lasciarlo semplicemente dipinto di rosso.

A presto altre foto. Sono in arrivo alcuni soldati moderni, tra cui 5 in tuta NBC e 5 in corazza balistica.




I finally found a way to connect without suffering the boredom of a slow connection: the wi-fi of the university is really convenient.

In these days of silence I managed to complete some work worthy of note.
I have not managed yet to upload all the photos, but in the meantime here's a little bit of what is coming.
The model is a Roman centurion of the imperial era, produced by Warlord Games. The shield should bear the insignia of the Legion of belonging, but I did not like it, so I decided to just leave it plain red.
